Writer's Workshop...
We are continuing to write about different "seed" ideas and the students have been learning about COPS! The students know the "COPS" will be called if their writing does not show
- Capitalization
- Organization
- Punctuation
- Spelling
Reading...
The students are learning about "just write" books. We discussed how a book should not be too easy or too hard but, just right, as I referrred to the story Goldilocks and the Three Bears.
Math...
The students took their first Unit 1 Math Test last week... I will be discussing the results at the report card conferences or by phone is skills should be practiced at home.
