More Birthdays and Awards!

We have been busy by celebrating a lot of December babies.  Happy Birthday girls!!!

Wiggle Breaks continue to be a huge hit!  Room 10 has many talented dancers!

Here are some trophy winners for excellent behavior!  Way to go I am so proud of you both!

Science

The students continue to learn about Air and Weather... The students learned about air and bubbles by going outside to blow some bubbles.  They learned that air is inside a buble and we can tell what direction the wind is blowing by looking at the direction in which the bubbles move.  The students loved the lesson!

Guess Who Made An Appearance?

Jingles (named by the students) made an appearance in the classroom.  Jingles is here to see who can follow the 4 school rules.  Jingles wants to make sure the students in room 10 are working hard, being responsible, being respectful and being safe.  Here are a few places we caught Jingles hiding.  The students look foward to finding Jingles every day!  I wonder where he will hide next?

Thanksgiving Activities

The students had an amazing time during our Thanksgiving craft and snack party!  A special thank you to all the parents who contributed to the party and who came to help out.  The students did a fantastic job on their turkey cookies.  Just take a look at a sample of the adorable cookies.  The handprint craft was also a huge success. What a special keepsake...

The students also had fun retelling the story of the First Thanksgiving with their retelling beads.  Ask your child to retell the story to you at home!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving with their families.  I certainly have a lot to be thankful for this year and every year!
