The Creature Creation Museum

Wow What A Day!!

The students had an amazing time at the Creature Creation Musuem...the students worked so hard on their animal research reports in school and their animals projects at home!  All the projects were truly amazing! We had a zebra, a stingray, a gorilla, a seahorse, a peacock, a few Orcas and whales just to name a few! Take a look at some of the amazing projects that my class made!

We walked to many habitats to see the animals.  Take a look at how our room changed to the Home on the Range, Cuddly Critters and Creepy Crawlies.

Everyone had a fantastic time!

Afterwards we enjoyed a special snack of animal crackers and gummyworms!

A huge thank you to all the parents who came to the Creature Creation Musuem! Your children were so happy to see you and we all appreciate you taking the time out of your busy schedules to see all the fun things happening at school!

St. Patrick's Day

The students started their day with a healthy green breakfast! The students enjoyed the green bagels with butter and green cream cheese, green fruit and green juice.

Most students wore their green and got into the spirit of the day!  We solved math problems about shamrocks and graphed the answers with a green crayon.

The students also did some leprechaun math and some shamrock work with real and nonsense words.

A special thank you to Mrs. Carney, Mrs. Khanna and Mrs. Withington for coming in to help with the breakfast and to all the parents who contributed to the breakfast.  It was a huge success!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Dr. Seuss Week

The students were busy learning about Dr. Seuss all week. They had a chance to read many of his books and do some fun activites that related to the book.  We also had a week of mystery readers coming in to read a Dr. Seuss book.  Take a look at all the visitors we had that week.

A very big thank you to all the mystery readers that came in to read and even the ones who signed up, but didn't get a chance to come and read due to the snowy weather!

Mrs. Khanna made some delicious Green Eggs and Ham cookies... they were amazing and the students loved them! So adorable...thank you!!!

The students had fun doing a Cat in the Hat activity too!

There were even Wiggle Breaks that day...

Take a look at my amazing class!

I missed them so much that week and I appreciate all the well wishes, cards and emails I received from everyone!
